Ordering & Shipping
How long does it take to process my order?
Most orders are processed and ready to ship within 2–3 business days. Because we're a small, family-owned business, every order is packed by us with care.
How long does shipping take?
Once your order ships, delivery typically takes approximately 1–5 business days, depending on your location and the carrier. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on current carrier rates.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship within the United States only and do not offer international shipping at this time.
Do custom or personalized orders take longer?
Yes. Personalized or custom orders take 3-4 business days to create and prepare for shipping because they are made-to-order.
What should I do if my order arrives damaged?
Please contact us as soon as possible at sowingaseed@yahoo.com with your order number and a photo of the damaged item. We'll review the issue and work with you toward a solution.

Soy Wax Melts
What are your wax melts made from?
Our wax melts are hand-poured in small batches using 100% soy wax and phthalate-free fragrance oils. Some melts may also contain colorants or mica for added color and shimmer.
How much wax is in each package?
Each clamshell contains approximately 2.5 oz. of wax divided into six cubes, making it easy to use as much—or as little—fragrance as you'd like.
How do I use wax melts?
Break off one or more cubes and place them in the dish of a wax warmer designed for wax melts. Turn on your warmer and allow the wax to melt, releasing the fragrance into your space. Start with one cube and add more if desired, being careful not to overfill your warmer dish.
Why does the fragrance strength vary between wax melts?
Fragrance strength can vary from scent to scent. Some fragrances naturally have a stronger hot throw than others, and the type of wax warmer you use—including its wattage and how warm it gets—can also affect how the fragrance is released. Room size and airflow can make a difference, too. A scent that fills a small bedroom may smell lighter in a large, open space. Different warmers may produce different results, so fragrance performance can vary from one setup to another.
Why does my wax melt have white spots or a frosted appearance?
Frosting is a natural characteristic of soy wax and may appear as white spots, crystals, or a slightly frosted appearance on the surface of your wax melt. It can develop over time or with changes in temperature. Because our melts are made with 100% soy wax, some frosting may occur and can vary from melt to melt. It does not affect the quality, fragrance, or performance of your wax melt.
How do I remove used wax from my warmer?
Pro Tip: When it's time to change scents, let the wax melt warm until the wax is completely melted. Turn off your warmer, then carefully soak up the melted wax with a few cotton balls. Once the wax is absorbed, discard the cotton balls in the trash and wipe away any remaining residue. Your warmer is ready for its next scent!

Wax Warmers
What type of wax can I use in your wax warmers?
Our wax warmers are designed for use with wax melts and are the perfect companion to our hand-poured soy wax melts. Always follow the instructions included with your specific warmer and be careful not to overfill the warming dish.
Do all of your wax warmers use a light bulb?
No. Our wax warmer collection includes both bulb-style warmers and warming-plate models. Each product description includes details about how that particular warmer heats the wax and, when applicable, the type of replacement bulb it uses.
Can I use a jar candle with my wax warmer?
Most of our warmers are designed for wax melts only. However, our Midas 2-in-1 Wax Warmer can also be used to warm jar candles up to 10 oz. by removing the wax dish and placing the candle directly on the warming plate. Always follow the instructions provided with your warmer.
Are the wax warmers made by Sowing A Seed?
No. While our soy wax melts are hand-poured by us, our wax warmers are made by Candle Warmers Etc. We carefully selected a variety of styles to pair with our wax melts and complement a range of décor.

Car Diffusers
How do the car diffusers work?
Our vent clip car diffusers use reeds to absorb and release fragrance into your vehicle. Insert both included reeds into the bottle and attach the diffuser securely to your vehicle's air vent. Airflow from the vent helps distribute the fragrance throughout your vehicle.
How long does a car diffuser last?
Our 8 ml car diffusers typically last approximately 4–5 weeks, although this can vary depending on airflow, temperature, vent use, and other conditions.
Can I adjust the fragrance strength?
The fragrance strength may vary depending on airflow, vent placement, temperature, and the fragrance itself. Our car diffusers include two reeds, and we recommend using both as directed for the best fragrance experience.
Why is there a plastic plug inside the bottle?
The plastic plug helps prevent leaks during shipping and transport. Remove the plug before inserting the reeds and using your diffuser.
Can the diffuser oil damage my vehicle's interior?
The diffuser should always be kept upright and securely attached to the vent. Avoid allowing the fragrance oil to spill or come into contact with your dashboard, console, upholstery, plastics, or other interior surfaces, as fragrance oil may damage some finishes. If a spill occurs, clean it up immediately according to your vehicle manufacturer's care instructions.

How do custom photo magnets work?
Upload your photo when placing your order, and we'll turn it into a custom magnet made just for you. Please make sure the photo you submit is clear and high quality for the best results.
Can you crop or adjust my photo?
We may make minor adjustments to the positioning or cropping of your photo as needed to fit the magnet. Because magnet shapes and sizes vary, portions of the original image may need to be cropped.
How long do custom magnets take to make?
Because custom magnets are made to order, please allow approximately 3–4 business days for your order to be created and prepared for shipping.
Do you offer bulk magnet orders?
